PhysioJo's mum

OK

I've worked it out. La ma-en-law is on the River Somme. It's a bit south of Albert and just just a few miles from Peronne.

I was planning to stop for lunch (and fuel) in Peronne anyway, so it fits in well.

Camping on the Somme

It's probably a bit quieter than it was a century or so ago!

Here's day one's ride with the excursion to visit Jo's mum.

Is anyone requiring the routes in TomTom format for this trip? If so drop a post on this thread and I will convert them.

Thanks

Tom Tom files

I believe it was "ncpierce" who kindly converted the files for the one day into Tom Tom file .itn. Please would you be so kind as to do the 4 day trip and the ride outs to PhysioJo's Mum etc. Happy to provide a beer or two for the trouble of course. Or should that be a bottle of drinkable French plonk?
My dealer has very kindly agreed to loan me the necessary spares for the 1200...FPC and Ring Antenna, hopefully not to be needed.

Brian - I'll try and get them done for you this weekend :thumb

Many thanks but absolutely no rush as we have a few weeks to go yet and maybe Richard is planning some other run outs.

Nope, just the choice of two on day three:

(i) Down to the lake

(ii) Around the back roads towards Dijon

Thanks to NCP for doing the TomTom conversion :thumb2

Thanks Richard, looking forward to a few days away on the bike. Did think about popping down to see my brother but Toulouse is a long trek!

Hi Wapping,
wife an i wanting to do 3/4 days away, live 2 hrs from tunnel so included in day 1. could I get an excel file of your 4 day route if you have one?
I have applemac so couldnt get downloads of tom tom stuff. Perhaps just me as I am not very computer literate
No worries if not, this is my first time with a post reply so not sure of any protocol
Whatever enjoy the trip
Colin

OK

As you are not a site member I cannot send you a PM (Private Message)

Full site membership costs just £12 a year and is money well spent, funding all the excellent threads.

You will need to post up your email address for me to send the routes to you.... or dive into your wallet for £12 and avoid all the tons of spam which (might) come your way.....

Seriously, I am more than happy to let you have the routes in an Excel format.

Thanks, I have now paid the £12, helps if you read the instructions first. I had missed that bit. Rather than post e mail address with subsequent spam does this now make it ok

Brian,

Hopefully should be OK for you to run. I had to remove a few intermediate waypoints to get some of the routes short enough to convert but I don't think they have made to much difference.

Hi Colin,

I sent you a PM asking for your email address so I could send you the routes you wanted.

I haven't heard anything back.

Richard
