Hi All, new to the forums.
After having lurked here for a few months now, decided to put together a route for my first trip abroad. I took inspiration from your many posts and would like some feedback/suggestions on the below.

Split over 6 days, clockwise, no motorway
Red bit: Days 1 & 6 which will include the trip to/from The Midlands

2 things that immediately spring to mind:
1. You're so close to the Black Forest it'd be rude not to visit :D
2. Mulhouse is home to Musée National de l'Automobile, collection Schlumpf which is well worth a visit

Looks good. I see you have focussed on the ''Vosges'' area of eastern France.
Nice riding!

If you join the forum as a full member then people can also DM you and share more info.........

as example...

The blue bit towards Saarbrucken: I'd stay further north for the second half, through Luxembourg. The bit just north of Metz isn't particularly scenic.

Just after you enter Belgium on that same day, there is apparently a bit of road towards Bouillon that is rumoured to be closed to bikes. Worth checking.

Vosges area is fantastic biking. One of my favourite biking destinations. Can be a touch moist though!

If you could loop through Germany and the Black Forest instead of the black route through France, it would make it even better, but time might not allow.
