They told me to ride it until the first service, and then they would look at it then, to be fair the sales man had ridden it to my place a distance of 82 miles, so he knew it rode ok!
Anyway I couldn't just there stand looking at it feeling miserable, so I thought what will the dealer do first? they will probably undo everything on the headlamp front sub-frame and try and fix it! So I thought well I could do that, so that's what I did, removed the plastic, slackened off all of the mounting bolts on the front end framework and gave it a bit of a anti-clockwise twist and nipped it all back up, She looked pretty good after that, then I got on it and road it up the Whitby and back which was a 200 mile round trip the way I did it, I called in at Heartbeat country on the way.
The bike was just fab, handled like dream lovely and smooth it's just brilliant, in fact I'm gonna stick my neck out and say for me it's a better bike than my 2013 bike. I can't put my finger on just what it is, but it felt really great, very slick box and clutch, and feels like a smoother power delivery.
So this morning things were looking a bit grim, but by the end of the day, 9.00pm when I got back, we were mates, me and my bike, so I'm happy, it's the beginning of a new relationship!
Thanks for your support guys especially those who pm'd me with help and advice, hopefully I'm sorted. Cheers
