trying to fit an oil cooler grill and I can't get the beak off, got most of the screws out but it is stuck under the screen adjuster somewhere. I have removed the screws under the black plastic side panels, see picture below. Would reall appreciate some help if anyone is out there.

Thanks

Danny

Just under the indicators is a small rectangular cutout, there you should see that the beak slides forward on a small stub to release, hope that helps.

Hi Gavin, thanks for the reply but its not there that it is stuck, I must have missed a screw somewhere near the screen adjuster but for the life of me I can't see it.

Also if you have an ex AUX socket fitted that need to undone, not easy to get too. I gave up until I have the right tool.

Don't you have to take the winglets off to get the beak off on an adventure :nenau

I was wondering who was going to be the first to spot that, what a muppet, never had winglets before, thats my excuse.

All back together now, one screw left over, still, looks alright.

Cheers.

Hi Baron, sure it was on ebay from a guy in Bournemouth, I rode down to pick it up, he had a nice KTM and was looking to manufacture lots of bits for GS's and KTM. Just had a quick look through my feedback and I can't find him, if I remember I'll let you know.

Thanks

Danny
