Just out of interest, how much play or slack should there be in the front brake lever? I've got little or none.

very little would be the answer
as the pushrod basically is in contact with the piston due to it being spring loaded out
It usually starts having an effect a couple of mm in
You could have swollen seals in there if it is tight all the way?

Thanks for the reply. Think the seals are OK - no issues with the brakes, just that once I noticed it got me wondering.
