Front brake servo switch

I have an intermittent problem with the front brake switch behind the lever either activating the servos when I am not using the brakes or registering a fault during pre start checks thereby disabling the servos altogether.
I have had this problem on and off for a year - thought I had fixed it a couple of times by tightening up the bolts close to the switch and stopping vertical play in the lever and cleaning out dust but.....the problem comes back. Mentioned it to dealer and they said they had fixed it...but the problem comes back...
It is always activated by a sustained spell of offroad riding and associated vibrations and shaking and possibly dust....
Anyone had the same or a similar problem?
Did it require a change of switch?

OK... Silly question but...

Is the brake lever touching the hand guard / plastic shield thingy?

If so, that could be your problem.

I had this problem & if i flicked the leaver the servos would stop usualy came on after i had been riding for a while
So went to moan @ pidcocks only to find i had adjusted the rear brake leaver to get more feel & it was causing a slight pressure build up which started the servos

Try some WD40.

Ok the end of the story:

Got the fuel guage replaced under warranty today and they stripped the front brake as a warranty job as well (thanks Procyles).
Turns out the microswitch was incorrectly aligned - that's why the problem was intermittent and always occurred with a lot of vibes and shaking from offroading - that's my theory anyway.
