Front Brake - Servo?

Hi

I went to look at a 2006 1200GSA today and have a question about the front brake.

When I pull the lever and hold it, the noise from the server is constant until i release the leaver. Is this normal?

When the rear pedal is pressed the servo noise comes on but then goes off shortly afterwards.

Any ideas?

No, it's not normal to have a server [sic] on a GS.

The back brake is designed to stop the servo after a short period of time so you can hold the bike on the back brake without the servo running constantly.
