Front brake switch was not working, removed & sprayed with cleaning stuff. Worked for a while, then packed up. Ordered a new one from Sherlocks yesterday, arrived today.:thumb2

Took the tank off, god is that really standard BMW wiring? It looks shit.Tugged at brake switch wire:blast It goes to a chocolate block:eek: one wire had fallen out:blagblah

Looked at other wires, bike has an alarm fitted, soldering is crap, insulating tape wound around these joints.I replaced with self almagamating tape. Just stripped and connected the wires and fitted them back to the chocolate block:eek:

I then went to Halfords and bought an aerosol of Waxoyl, blew this over the underside of the tank, and any frame work I could spray that wouldn't be visible once the tank was refitted. Also sprayed the seat pan.

I can see me doing the other bikes now:D
