My front brakes seem to be biting a bit late on the lever. I've checked the fluid and everything's good there. The brakes work fine and ABS works 100%.

How can I adjust it so that it bites a little early on the lever?

Also, there's plenty of wear still left on the pads. Any help?

have you adjusted the brake lever?, if it's been adjusted back towards the handle bars this is the effect you will have. Move the adjustment knob on the lever till the lever is furthest away from the handle bars anfd this will improve.

Still issues

Upon further investigation, if I pump the brake lever a few times, it seems to stiffen up and return to the right feel. I have to do this every morning. If not, the break lever can be squeezed all the way to touching the handle.

I have adjusted the lever to the furtherest away setting on the dial and the fluid levels appear to be fine.

Does anyone know what the problem might be?

At a guess, I't sounds like you have a bit of air in the system. Brakes could probably do with a bit of a bleed.

Before you bleed them [pain in the ass job] pull the brake lever on and tie it up with something so its on all the time and then turn the handle bars so the brake reservoir is at the highest point it can be and leave it over night [do it over a few night if needed] if there is air in the system it should come out.
Worked for me

Good Luck
