Apologies for bringing up an old subject
Briefly, front brake lever is pulsing, front end is nodding. I have looked through here and several other sites. It seems to be an ongoing problem that BMW seems not to recognise. I found some Service Bulletin Numbers which, from my understanding replaced the discs and bolts with different bolts. I rung Customer Services who stated they did not exist. It has recently had its 24000 service and was not picked up. When I rung the dealer about it, they said discs were covered until 10000,after that unlikely to be replaced.
My bike is a 07 model without ABS. I have had a very unhappy relationship with BMW since I purchased the bike last August. I am on the point of selling up and moving to Triumph!!
I can appreciate brakes wear,I do not go offroad,I do not brake heavy...I use the rear now. Do I make a noise about this? Will I get any where? I dont know what to do
Oh, they wanted over four hundred pounds to rectify the problem!!
