Front Disks

Removed the front disks, aware that there could be washers behind the disks. There were, but only 4 on one side and three on the other - why not 5 on either side?

They are very thin but appear to be metal rather than hard rubber.

Anyone else seen this ?

Hope you made a note of the position of each
and marked an index on the discs

Just kidding but why on earth would there not be a full set unless someone was trying to align the discs in some way?

Fortunately I did note the position of the disks and washers, but if they are for alignment it will not apply to the new wheels.

I would ask a BMW dealer as I think i can remember 2008 or 2009 that there was some problem with these washes breaking up and falling out???

What year is the bike ?. There's a difference between the discs post and pre 2008.

It's a 54 plate - registered February 2005.

I know that later bikes had anti -squeel washers under the disks, but not sure if it is those that are fitted.
