Front Engine Casing

The bolts won't rattle out, mine have been in there for years with copaslip on them.

The amount of corrosion you get is proportional to the amount of materials involved. On a boat you have a small zinc anode to protect the steel. The anode gets eaten away because it is small in comparison to the steel. In your case the anode is the aluminium of the entire engine but there is a lot less stainless so it's much slower. It still happens but it's much slower. With a little care and a barrier (the copper) it will be fine.
