New tyres on the bike! Much needed (PR4s). I had hoped the handling would improve as I put it down to shagged tyres. Of course is miles better, but is still not there.
So, because the ball joint seems OK at this point, I'm pointing the finger at the shocks. At first I thought maybe the rear but I realised this morning that actually I've got more dive under braking that I think there should be. I'll do the rear next month, I'm sure they both need the tlc.
This weekend I'll be taking the front shock off and on Monday get it over to ABE for a rebuild. how involved is it getting the shock out? Can I do it with everything in place (I mean front wheel, forks, telelever etc.)?
Grateful for any tips.
