Front Wheel Removal

Hi folks i've a 2010 gs,i'm thinking of getting the front rim resprayed,to match the rear,
is there anything to look out for when stripping the wheel,,,ie taking the discs off

Other bikes I have had, have had the disk screws loctited. If the screws seem difficult, heat them up to soften the loctite.
 
As per Smiffypr, get the bolts warm with a hot air gun. They don't need to be particularly hot as the not torqued very high (steel into ali) but it will definitely ease the whole dissembly.

Another tip. If you want to make sure they go back exactly as they were, then get a marker pen and write LH/RH and and arrow to the valve. That way, they'll go back exactly as they were

But on another point. Spraying them will just be a cosmetic finish, fingers to come off. Or am I being too pessimistic? Powder coating is the only way, for a refurb

Also worth running a tap down the bolt holes to remove the residual locktight.

Only just seen your post. Yea, 'powder coating' is the best, but even then, be mindful of which type. The polyester coating is probably far too thick.
