frozen pinkie tips

If you are serious about long distance winter miles then muffs are the only sensible option.

However, should you be concerned about the muffs clashing with your eye shadow (they just won't make them in lilac, you know) then the H-G Pathan gloves are the next best thing. Your fingers keep each other warm, and it makes a huge difference. I was expecting it to be a bit warmer, but it's much warmer than I thought possible. Just did 350 miles today, temperature around 3C all day, and no problems.

These are the puppies you want:

I think that all cartoon characters must be related, seeing as how they all have only three fingers. That's a vaguely distasteful thought.

Just fitted a pair - brilliant! COst me 20 quid in Infinity. Franco told me he made some out of 2 litre oil containers and tape. Wish I thought of that before!

I just got a pair too.......ashamed of it though I am.....

Also from Infinity...the one on the roundabout near Richmond.......but they cost me 34.99, not 20 quid!

I'll fit them tommorrow before a ride up to and around Warwickshire.......but wtf, at 35 notes, they're still cheaper than a pair of winter gloves and even if I look like a twat (ok, more of a twat), they look like they'll do the job nicely.

Grammar lesson knobhead. THEIR this actually defines ownership, THERE is where something is located.

Pathan gloves[ No 'O'] yes I have a pair of these. Depends how far you poofs actually ride if you think that these are effective.

There, I feel better now. Apologies for the offensive comments, but after my recent 2 servo pump replacements, tonight my gear indicator gave up on me, indicating 0 when in 3rd. The pastis is also sliding down rather too well.

I have the cloven hoof gloves, thanks Andy!

and I have the muffs - still dont fit properly, but they will:

How about a 550 km, 10 hour day, at 3degrees C? Kept me pretty toasty, didn't need my windstopper inner gloves till the ride home in the dark (hour or so).

Oh, and internet bulletin boards. Bad place to be teaching grammar. The natives either don't know, don't care, or will catch you out when you make an inevitable slip o' the grammar in haste....

Me too...

Ever notice how all the Kids in his village look like Postman Pat....and where did a postman get enough cash together for the numberplate "PAT 1"....something dodgy going on there methinks.
I had a pair of those gloves when I lived in the frozen wastelands of Germany working in Frankfurt. They were toasty in all weathers. Bit tooo hot for down here though.

Remove mirrors and Swop muffs over so that you have to mount them upside down. This makes for a neater installation and allows you to use the mirror stalk cut outs to reach the stupid indicator buttons!

You need to feel for the stalk mounting point and burn a little hole to pass the stalk through.

Warm dry pinkies in summer gloves down to 4 centigrade so far and you can get to all the required buttons! For some reason the wind noise behind the screen has reduced too......Tobers any Ideas?

are they upside down? I thought that crap gary glitter design was meant to be in top?

Maybe not but mine have a slotty bit which is now on the underside which I thought was for the Mirror stalks.......didn't fit well that way mind!!! They fit very well with a hole cut for the stalks and don't affect the steering up to 115mph :D

Touratech do spoilers for standard handgaurds, not sure how much, but not to expensive.I always fit push bike lever foam rubber covers to all my bikes. They're available from Halfords at £1.99 pair.In winter they make a Hell of a difference, especially round town.I average 100 miles a day on my Scooter using Muffs and Hotgrips and ride bare handed or with moto cross gloves. But the idea of Muffs on my GS sounds interesting.Do you have to remove the handgaurds?
