Does fitting a sports exhaust increase the fuel consumption...under 'normal' riding conditions? I know on some bikes it does, but with the cat and Lambda sensor in situ I can't see why it should on a GS...
Cheers,

Can`t say I`ve noticed on mine, when it gets low at about 190 miles I fill up. I can get a few more but thats what I normally top up at :thumb2

I agree, thats piss poor, thrash it harder and you`ll get it far closer to 100 miles you wuss :augie

Cheers,

its cos u rev it more to hear the new exaust note.anyway, get the cat out, you wuss

I put on a y piece, remus (baffle out so my extension pipe can be inserted to bring the end past my panniers) and a K&N filter, however I also did the valves etc at the same time... so not sure which bit helped but I am getting on average 20 more miles per tank on my 1150 GSA. I was getting around 23-240 until the orange light went on now I'm hitting 260 before the light comes on. Thats with my worldbeaters attached. I know its not a 1200 but with your bike being even lighter surely you should see a bigger improvement?!?
