Hi everyone,

After a (very!) wet ride today, I popped the filler cap to refuel and noticed a lake of h2o swilling around the rim of the tank.
Is this normal? Does it ever cause problems with running, or corrosion in the tank? Is there a fix?

Can't say I've ever seen the filler cap leaking on any other bike I've owned!

There is a drain hole which can block up, try gently poking a bit of strimmer line or similar through it :thumb2

Had to change mine out Kev - tried all the above and they didn't work. Simple enough process if you have to go there - costs about £30 for the bit and a couple of petrol pipe clips from Halfords. (What I think happened to mine was the brazing point of the pipe which 'folds' around the filler cap broke down and blocked the breather hole),
