I done some maintenece on my 2007 gs, I took the top filler off, drilled some holes at the top of the neck as I was told it increases the amount of fuel you can put in the tank, after fitting the top filler back in place my fuel is showing full when it's not, if any one got some advice on what I did wrong would be great
Thanks graham

I took the top filler off so I could gain access to the bottom section filler and drilled the holes in the bottom section fillers neck, is that the wrong place

Sorry Graham, I'm sure it's nothing to do with where youv'e drilled the holes, I was jesting. I'm sure there's a fair bit of information on here that should point you in the right direction, it's been debated often enough, Try a search on the subject :beerjug:

It's a known fault with the Fuel strip design in the 1200's

It "may" reset but more than likely you will need a replacement fuel strip

Had the same fault .
Ijust ignored it and after a few months it fixed itself.:thumb
