any idea why after i fill up nothing shows on the gauge untill i have done couple of hundred miles
over to you

It may be your fuel sender pickups are worn or need cleaning up. Only snag s you need to empty the tank to get inside the tank.

Mine does it and i just reset the odometer each fill up, it can wait til i need to go in the tank.

Have a sit down with a jar and search fuel guage/ sender etc as loads of useful info

Ditch has linked you to my thread it will be where the arm has worn when full it pulls the pointimeter (sp) thing away from the gauge it connects to. The low fuel light connect is at a steeper angle with a shorter reach hence why the issue is not seen with low fuel. I think I've fixed mine by bending the connector down a bit to compensate for the extra movement. But have only been able to test by measuring the resistance with voltmeter trying to pull the arm away. I'll be getting out on it in the next week or so. I will fill her up and see from there. Whilst in there I took the opportunity to change the fuel filter. Mine was also knocking out the temp gauge until after about 80 miles when the level had dropped enough to no longer affect.
