Suzuki GS550 Carb connection/link o-rings are also identical if a local Suzuki dealer is more conveniant? I will dig out the part number if you need it.

Hello from Austria- The Suzuki number would be very useful, local BMW dealer can't supply the seals and getting small packets sent from the UK is a lottery-sometimes things take months to arrive! We have a very helpful Suzuki dealer nearby so if I have the part number I can order a few to keep in my toolbox in case anyone staying here has a problem.
I will order a few and see what happens. We had a guy last year who had to wait two days while the local BMW dealer got him new connectors as they say they can't get just the O rings. Not much fun when you are on a biking holiday!

I remember you getting them and was pleased that the problem was resolved. Just a few weeks later we had another failure, as I was going into town anyway I called into the dealers expecting to simply pick up the seals. I was told that they had stopped supplying them and that we would have to order a "repair kit" Two days later this arrived and was the complete connector. If I have seals here it will also save a journey and maybe some valuable riding time.

Maybe we bought the last ones
On the other hand it was easy to follow Andy down the road by following the petrol breadcrumb trail - if it got too hard we just dropped a match on the trail - then he was easy to find
Make sure you check the price of the Suzuki ones first. I bought my last lot almost 10 years ago!! The japs can charge quite a bit more than even BMW, and those from Sherlocks are a very good price. The part number is definately good though.
