this fuel gauge change is proving a real challenge.....As a follow up to the draining question I now have a real problem removing the fuel pump in the fuel gauge unit. I fitted one fine, sometime ago, but getting it off is proving a real nightmare. Can anyone suggest a good way to get it off without damaging it. also the rubber sleeve (that attaches to the little filter bag) around the top of the pump, seems to have some splits in it can these be replaced as a separate part? Thanks.
