Hi all , had the dreaded ride home on the flatbed yesterday, the engine just cut out on the M Way no cough or splutter, (thanks to the other GS rider who stopped whoever you are ) RAC didn’t have a Clue.
Had a look this morning and I get a spark so that looks ok
I have read through many posts and as a result a think it’s the pump. I took it out and put a battery across it. It struggled to get going ran for about 10 sec and stopped am I right in thinking that it should just run all the time like that,? Is there anything clever in it that won’t let unless its immersed in fuel?
Rang the friendly BMW garage and though I would check on here before I fork out £200 only to find out it was the HALL
Any advice?
