I’m about to put a new adv tank on my 1150 GS. It came with a fuel pump but I’ve no idea how old it is so I’m going to replace it.

From memory I’m sure there are alternatives to a genuine one. Can anyone shed any light on this please ?

At least Audi 80 and Audi 100 have the same pump.

Just stik request on eBay and it will come up with an array of no name pumps, all probably as good as the original.
I prefer the ones with proper nuts not the push and solder type.
Another option is the a Quantum fuel pump with lifetime quarantine, had one + used it and came in handy.more expensive.
Kemso pumps looks good and decent priced ,
M+D do one with solder on connection for 23.-£

Personally I would avoid Quantum pumps - I got one about 5 months ago and fitted it and it died last week which is not what I expected. To be fair he did refund me (eventually) but still a pain in the ass to have to fitt another one. This time I went for a pump from Moterworks which seems to be working fine.

Where do you get the M&D ones? I presume M&D is Meat and Doria. It's just that I have one (fitted in Montenegro) and I will probably take a spare next time and plug n play would be good at the roadside.
