fuel tank quick disconnects for 1150

anyone know where to get fuel line quick disconnections ??
how much are they ??
and do they have check valves in em to prevent fuel spillage ??

Motorworks. £18 for one half. £12 for the other.

They have valves in them to stop spillage.

I seem to remember them being a lot dearer - and needing to buy each part seperately, but I just got the complete pair of couplings from Motorworks for £13.80 plus vat - item FUA0000 - but remember you also need a couple of extra hose clamps!!

Agree with Steptoe, always ask the dealer for a comparison price. Mostly I've found a few pence in it when I've done it, not had any shockers yet then again not bought many high price items!

Hopefully Steptoe will correct me if I'm wrong but aren't FUA0000 the old style connector? They both look plastic while the new ones are plastic/metal? I also wouldn't bother with the hose clamps - I put some quick disconnects in and the fit was bloody tight, you trying removing the connector. You won't be able to without cutting the pipe off.

Just leave the tank unlocked, I'm sure someone local will help you drain your tank

I got mine from Vines, didn't even get Steptoe's prices but for both sides (2 male & 2 female) and a length of hose around £50-£55.

Only when I got there for him to fit them did he tell me I didn't buy enough bits
