Fuel warning light GSA 03

Can any one help, filled tank up the other day and bike came of stand on forecourt. With a bit of help back to my feet and rode off, but now the fuel waning light is remaining on even though the tank is full.

Maybe the fuel level float got stuck in the down (empty) position when it fell?
Drain the tank, take it off and examine the fuel sender unit and test it.

Cheers for your quick reply could you please tell me how to test the sender unit

I think you will find the arm has just got caught up inside the tank, when the fuel filter was changed on mine the float got twisted round 90deg - not easy to spot
