I've been offered a furygan houston jacket pretty cheap. I like the look of it and have heard that furygan quality is good but would like to know if anyone has tried one of these on and if so does it cover your waist /belt
The problem I've had with leather jackets in the past is that they've been "sport cut" and rather short.

I had a Furygan two piece suit a few years back. Made in France, beautiful leather and lasted far too long. :o They are not cut too short like other jackets, but the matching trousers on my suit did have a high waistband (but nothing like Simon Cowells :D ).

Hey ! Before and after haircuts.........

I have a furygan jacket for 5 years now. Quality is good .. but for some reason it seems to skrink? Never washed it so don't know if that is something to do with French leather :D

Does it seem to be getting tighter around the waist by any chance? :augie

I've had a Furygan Texas for a similar ammount of time and love it. Quality is first class and it looks great on and off the bike. I don't wear it for the daily commute as it's not so easy to clean and I like it too much to get it full of keech on the M4. Done loads of long trips with it though and it's very easy to live with.

Almost too good. Seems to take forever to break them in. Had mine 3 years and still look like I took up riding yesterday! Might have to drag it behind the bike for a bit!

My furygan black leather jacket is 20 years old this year. No wear on it whatsoever :thumb

Because they last so long get a plain colour, you'll look a muppet with this years colour co-ordination of stripes in a few years time - prime example in the picture posted in this thread. :D

I've had a furygan jacket for the best part of 17 years. Top notch leather and great construction. The only marks are on it are down to my own stupidity so I can vouch for the protection. The right hand pocket zip has busted but that's about it. It's spent the last 12 months "resting" in the wardrobe waiting for the mythical day I get back to my ideal weight - can't bring myself to part with the bloody thing!

MCI used to rave about Furygan, and I nearly bought a '32' jacket a few years ago 'cause its my lucky number and I loved the colours. Then some mag slated their crash resistance, so I didn't buy, then Dan Walsh got one and I was really pleased I hadn't (bad enough that E & C bought the same bike as me and I got the constant 'so you bought a bike like E & C'...).
Then Dan turns up in this months bike mag wearing the same jacket. Either it is world class quality to have survived this long, or Furygan are shipping him out a regular supply. Cant quite make up my mind.....

I had a Furgyan "security" jacket..... lasted years (in fact Im now too fat for it, so its gone to a mate).

Well made jackets, great leather IMHO
