G310 Overheating

My G310 overheats rapidly when standing in traffic, does anyone have a similar issue?
No, but in a similar vein, had error pop up which was fan fuse active. Cleared it and forced fan to run. It squealed a bit then settled down and had been fine since. Was bloody hot queueing to get into Farmyard Rally but didn't error.

The 310 engine is built in India. It is highly likely it was subject to the same emissions regulations my 2022 Ktm bike was. That is for the Indian mkt ( BS5 or 6 from memory) the engines run really lean. My KTM would bring the fan on on a winters day after less than five minutes of slow riding or idling in traffic. After fitting a Powertronic ecu piggy back the low speed fuelling was transformed and I only heard the fan kick in on the warmest of days eg when I expected it too.

Have you checked to see if the fan is free to spin?
There could be a small stone preventing it spinning. The fuse could have blown because of that. Worth checking perhaps.

Good luck.

strange that ? burning petrol causes heat ?
over heating ? define ? how do you know ? got a thermometer or a thermal camera , I've got an H128 £120 .
( his squeaky voice is annoying , but he is very good and fair )

causes

no coolant , don't just check the overflow bottle , look in the radiator .
water pump not working ? check that coolant moves around , by looking in the radiator , and revving the engine
fan not kicking in , check blades move freely , fuse intact ?
radiator cooling surface not blocked up externally ( internally , remove and flush with a hose )
head gasket gone ? this is a double edged sword , coolant level drops with seemingly no leak , gets hot very quickly , but gauge drops as soon as you are moving ,
thermo-switch u/s , so not turning fan on when it should ... have engine running , touch the 2 ( might be 1 ) wires together , fan should run. ( if 1 just earth it )
