G650 XCountry - any years to avoid?

I wasn't thinking of you, but if the cap fits....

Potentially adding a lower mudguard to the Xchall is purely practical and says nothing of my manliness :) anyhoo its the headlight that lets the Xco down IMO (cosmetically)

I'm sure a headlight conversion could be in order, if I get one.:thumb Plus, I'll get to ask lots of silly technical questions, diverting attention from the WC section.:D:beerjug:

Well we are a friendly bunch over in the g650 section.
Don't think you will divert any attention as the toilet owners and mockers need each other, they just haven't realised it yet........

If the headlight is all that worries you, that's nothing

You can always fit another one from a Moto or Challenge

It's virtually the same bike with a 19/17 wheel set & 2" less suspension travel

Big plus for me is the ergo's which are way better than the Xchallenge & it's a good bike offroad

Nice bike for a novice if its dry, flat, not to rutted, in Spain or other arid climates. A little bit disheartening for a novice if its wet and slippery.

Speaking of which, can anyone advise me which is the best oil to use, & which is the best side to fill the petrol tank from ? :hide
