Variable rates I'm sure but just wondered what people are getting as a reasonable service life?

8500 so far and all ok
Might need a cable soon, as they seem to stretch![]()

How long is a piece of string?
Riders treat the clutch in all different ways.....
Me, it's either in or out, no clutch dragging unless absolutely nescessary.
Miles now cover 12000.
Agreed, cable required adjustment at 4000.

Appreciate advice, shall take a butchers next oil change.
So the original clutch release shaft ran straight into the alloy cover!
Did it make some nasty noises leading up to the seizure?
I fitted the 'uprated' Clutch cover, as a precaustion at 5000 miles and it costs about £75

Johnny,
just phoned my dealer (useless Clarkes in B'ham) and they can't tell me if the part they list is uprated or not. There's no history of the part number changing. The only way to find out is to order the thing from Germany and they reckon I'm then obliged to buy it!
Who did you get yours from?
cheers
