garmin 2820/compass page

Do anybody know if 2820 has compass function for running off road..? Thank you very much in advance..Gus

2820 Compass...

'fraid not...

I was chatting to both the BMW guys and the Garmin guys at the NEC show as I want a GPS with a compass screen for an upcoming adventure. Seems this is the main difference between the 2820 and the Nav III - the Nav III has the "exclusive BMW compass" and the 2820 doesn't, despite them being basically the same.

Now if only BMW hadn't cocked up the 2820's Audio In it would be perfect for my needs....
