Garmin 660 help to find Belgium address

Sorry guys, but new to Garmin

I have a trip planned on the 09th to Ypres in Belguim

I have full European maps, but can't find Ypres. What am I doing wrong?

When searching for Ypres, are you searching in the correct country ?

I've done this before.................... easy to do.

I think so, selected Belguim first, then city, but no joy

Just done the same on my 590, Belgium for the country, and it found it straight the way?

Have you got Belgium loaded ?

I think so as it shows full European

Go to 'Cities' search for 'Ieper' using a capital i, for some reason the spelling will an 'L' is not recognised.

Ieper is the Belgian spelt/name for what the English call Ypres........................... I think your onto something !

Has the sat nav found it ?
