Garmin GPS format

Hi all,
can anybody tell me which format i should select so i can put in lat/long positions for route planning ?. Its set on WGS at the moment. Also can you use TYRE on a macbook ?.

I don't think there's a Mac version of TYRE as yet. Time to install Parallels or Bootcamp or Virtual Box and install Windoze...

I'm pretty sure Garmin uses WGS64......................... I can go check if you want me to. (Garmin590 unit).
