Garmin Map Source on MAC

I currently have my Garmin software on my PC in work, but would like to plan routes / upload from computer to GPS from my MAC at home.

Is their a way of using the Garmin Map source software on MAC?

Does it work if you have virtual PC software on MAC?

Yes, but its slow at redrawing the maps especially if the detail level is high. Even with a 64 or 128 mb graphics card in your Mac VPC only emulates an old graphics card with a maximum 16mb VRAM.

Is there any GPS software available for a Mac then or do all the Mac users have to buy a PC for their gps requirements?

It works and thats what matters, I have a PC and a Mac so no problem.

But I would not be put off buying a MAC just coz of mapsource
