OK, it is a long shot but. I am heading to Hawaii later this year and before I head to Garmin to buy a set of maps for my XT does any one have a set of maps I could borrow or buy.
Seeing as Hawaii is a fraction of the size of the UK so not difficult to navigate
Why don't you save the money and just use your smartphone and download the maps before you leave?? All completely free (no you do not need to use data). Google maps, Osmand, Maps.me are just a few that you can use completely free for navigation
(Using a local sim will give you the added bonus of live traffic if you use google maps though I can't see it being that busy)
The maps at this site should work. The maps are based on openstreetmaps which are pretty accurate. https://garmin.opentopomap.org/.
Alternatively you can make your own for free……but it is a bit techie. Instructions here

Btw
micro sd card and maps in garmin folder , if you put sdcard in a reader and plug it into PC, THEN start basecamp, it will load the maps!
So you can use in satnav and Basecamp.
Cool eh?
