I left my home this morning and when I came back it wasn't burned down to the ground.
So I don't think I need a fire insurance anymore

The Zumo is designed specifically so that the unit can't come off until the catch is pressed up. This is never going to happen unless it's flicked up by hand, given it's spring loaded. Chances off it coming off accidentally are zero unless the mount is faulty.
Yes the security screw was useless at providing any sort of security, but having a turn knob there is even worse - and it does nothing to secure the Zumo better.
There are too many who need to stand back and look at what they are buying. You haven't convinced me that it does anything period, but good luck selling it to the Touratech bling-bling muppets that don't bother asking the question.

I know I'm months after everyone else but do you have any of the Zumo screws left? If so I'll complete the order form and send the payment.
Thanks.
Got mine in the post today, must say" happy with it for the peace of mind". Much better idea than the fiddly screw fitted as standard. Much easier to take it off and pop in pocket than before. Thanks ECM for the info to start with. I'm pleased with it, just saying like-----------![]()
