The response has been nothing short of incredible for our first Gathering We've got folk attending from as far afield as Ireland, London, Isle of Man and most points in between.

Yep, there will be Ride Outs (one of which will involve a bit of fording and hopefully some off roading). Grizzly and I are going to be doing some recces shortly in order to get some definite routes sorted out.

If you know any good offroading in this area could you let us know

Jim and Helen won't be able to make it they said today...means a new set of tyres; taxing the other bike (they alternate between bikes)...ooh and they just started up a new business.....so things abit tight. Sad as they really liked the idea of converting a whole load of GSer's but there ya go...you can't win 'em all!

We'll be there tho', moo's and all, and we're rather excited as it looks to be the first time this year we'll be off the island together! Derm is on the boat as I type --- going off to London on his own to pick up the rest of our stuff..... ......I am NOT a happy moo to be without him except that I get to go see Miss Potter tomorrow night and he doesn't have to suffer Ewan Magregor!!

Excellent, Grizzly knows every nook and cranny in these parts. I don't know any off road areas up here. As far as I know you need the landowners permission. Corsican Dave used to know a few routes and I think he had permission from the Factor of the Invercauld estate which helped but I've not seen Dave for a long time.
