Well im a rally virgin im high interseted in joining you guys on this weekend ive had a gs 650 now ive jumped up to 1200 gs,can you let me know how to book on this weekend please, cheers

John, Fit like? Welcome to the Forum. Hope you are enjoying the 1200, and it must mean you've got a bigger inside leg than me. Couldn't get my feet on the ground on the 12GSA. Sift through the Forum and you will find plenty of information about your bike, and what other people think of it. Prattle around the plenty of areas there are here and join in. I don't think anyone has drawn blood yet by biting back at someone else, so as long as your not overly sensitive, just jump right in. Watch out for Herr Ronno, he triies to run Scotland like some German despot.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but I think that you might have to join the "waiting and hoping that someone drops out!" queue, primarily because I think in reading the thread that Ronno says it is fully booked, both in terms of beds provided and in terms of camping spaces.
Don't worry though, it is still early days, and I'm sure that others will need to drop out of coming, and therefore depending on how many there are on the aforementioned "queue", you may get a spot. Just keep an eye out on here and let Ronno know you are interested...

The event is booked up and has been for some time. I'll stick your name down on the reserve list if you wish. There is the always the possibilty of a cancellation or two. Can you let me know if you want me to do this...

Plenty fields available, Moo. The problem is with the hotel. They can only cater for 100 or so

I was hoping to make Scotlands first national event and this would have been my first rally as well, but it's now clashing with another event that weekend, so I can free up some spaces for the campsite.
