Hi can anyone help?

I'm trying to fit an Accumen gear change indicator to my 2007 650, have got the bulk of it done without a wiring diagram, am now struggling as it's not learning the gears ?

Has anyone fitted one of these on a 2007 model ?

Accumen have suggested its the wiring from the tacho side of the bike, does anyone have a clue as to which colour wire that might be?

Have tried the local dealer, no joy there so far!

Hi Darren, no didn't manage to get it sorted.

I've spoken again to Dave at Acumen, he thinks the electrical system is too noisy ??

We connected the tacho wire to the halls effect sensor, we had a 'n' reading on the indicator unit but on trying to teach the gears the number one just flashes and doesn't progress from there, we are happy that we have all the wires in the correct places.

can you suggest anything else ?

:clapUpdate on the gear indicator saga
I took the bike to Accumen on Saturday, thye were not able to get the unit to learn the gears either! :(
Turns out the speedo doesn't give a strong enough signal for the accumen unit to pick up the reading.
So they have suggested fitting a speedo sensor unit - which they kindly gave me for my troubles.
Not fitted it yet but hpefully it will be the solution :clap
