Gear oil - GL4 vs GL5

Have some oil in the shed and wanted to know if it's ok for the bike. I know I need GL5 but then oil says both GL4 and GL5 which I thought was a bit odd.

It's Motul Gearbox 80W-90 API GL4 and GL5 / MIL-L-2105D

I reckon it should be alright but just wanted the peace of mind before I put it in.....

ISTR that GL5 exceeds GL4 so it ought to be fine.

Our bikes need GL5 oil in the gearbox.
It's for hight speed gearboxes with anti-foam additives.
Our gearboxes are hight speed because the gearbox input shaft has the same rpm as the crankshaft.

Your GL5 oil is OK for you.
