Does anybody know if the fittment of Bridgstone 020 tyres alters the gearing significantly?
My GS12 will eventually, but consistently run to the rev limiter in 6th gear, which to may way of thinking would suggest the gearing could have been a bit higher as standard.

If you can do this with 020's I guess the answer is yes.

What speed is it showing?

Rev limiter in top would scare me!

It suggest to me you have friendlier coppers than exists in the Dyfed Powys police area.

Swooper, the rev limiter comes in quite softly and just begins to retard the speed approaching an indicated speed of 140mph.

Welshmagician, you don't do it on UK public roads.

It made my speedometer more correct. I have GPS unit and with 020's fitted the speed on the clock is is now closer to the GPS unit
