Gearbox oil - accidentally put GL4

So how many of you nipped out to the garage to check what you used last time ;)

I know it a bit sad but I change my gearbox and final drive oil at least twice a year. Same as the engine oil and filter. As said before, it's a lot cheaper doing that than replacing the relavent parts that go tits up due to lack of maintenance.

Likewise - all oils every 3000 (oil filter every 6000).
Brake fluid every year.

Might be over the top but it costs peanuts in real terms.

Once a year i change the engine, gearbox and bevel oil, oil filter, air filter, brake fluid and strip the calipers, mainly because there is so very little else for me to do to the bike - which then means there' practically nowt to do for the rest of the year because i've changed everything.......so i have to wait another year before i do it all again.

Never imagined a 17 year old bike could be this reliable.

Funnily enough i looked at an old Z1000 a few days ago and thought about buying it, i don't need it for anything, it would be my take it apart and rebuild it stress relief toy
