My bike is in for the gearbox under warranty which is strange since the last owner kindly informed me it had a new one fitted when his right side cylinder head went bang!?!?!?!. The bike has done 3k miles at most since the new one was fitted.
On the way to the shop a nice 'Mr Porsche' man pulled out straight into my path, no way are you gonna touch the bike you t**t

...so quick push on the left bar and my knee slid all the way down his back door to the front where it stopped...bike, his car and knee all nicely stuck together (there are some benefits being tosser size

).
Two great guys stopped straight away and said they would be a witness, there are some nice tin tops.
Rode the bike to the shop and they tell me that the rear indicator just fell off, everything else was ok.
Just got HID's courtesy of Zerocool, since the bike is so high he obviously did not see the lights, think next investment will be some lower lights so the little cars can see you too.
I hope to god they get it done quick as I am off to the Motogp on Wednesday and then off to Switzerland.
They are also fitting a new set of pads on the rear as the travel to stop the rear brake you have to put your foot near vertical. These are free of charge as a good will gesture so they say, due to having petrol covered over my bike clothes and my shed as they did not tighten up either of the bolts on the tank (they just fell to the floor when I took the side panels off) and the O ring on the pipe split.
Sorry for a bit of post hijacking

p.s. they are wanting me to pay the £15.00 for use of the loan bike...do you think this is fair? Have a R1200 RT and tomorrow will be the third day I have had it.
