Hi All,

Cutting a very long story short, I am going to remove my '94 1100 gearbox in order to have a look at the bearings. I suspect that they have worn and need replacing.

In a break from tradition, I'm asking for advice before I start!

Does anyone have any top tips/words of wisdom or internet links that they wish to pass on?

Thanks in advance,

DA

Be very careful when pulling the gearbox back. the earth wire is wrapped round the battery tray mounts and forces the gearbox downward bending the pushrod.

Ratchet strap the main stand to the front wheel to stop it folding up.
