Hi all,
I am still trying to replace the gearbox on my 1150GS.
I have sourced and fitted a replacement box (used) and after a few niggles have got the bike back together.
When I have run the engine, I can select neutral but when I try and select a gear it gives a positive click like a gear is engaged, but I don't get any drive.
Before I installed the gearbox, I did rotate the input shaft and noticed that the output shaft rotated also, not a perfect test, but somewhat reassuring.
So the question is, are the gears being almost selected? Is there some adjustment to make onto the splined gearbox selector shaft?
Can someone suggest some pointers to check out????
