Having some unexpected trouble using .ged stuff on Mac (coz it's hopeless Windowz shite obviously, still...).

Is it compatible? Anyone have a handy converter?

Nup - don't do .ged files.

It is, apparently, a standard format for genealogical information - -5.5- is standard, -paf for Personal Ancestral File software and -legacy- for Legacy software.

Any the wiser?
