Getting dirty in Vegas ?

Not the type of dirty normally associated with Vegas .........I'm due out in Vegas in January for the CES convention which means work pays for me to fly out and if I pay for my own accomodation on the night before I'm due to get there I will have a full day (a Sunday) to go play.

I've been to Vegas a couple of times in the past but normally can't get out by myself due to travel companions. I've done the "Hire a Harley" bit and ridden the strip / Valley of Fire / Red Rock Canyon / Hoover Dam and Lake Mead all on blacktop.

This time, I'd like to get dirty in the desert for the day.

I've found 2 tour companies so far:-

and just wanted to know if anyone knew of any other options or had been with either of these 2 in the past?

I've also seen this one and will try to see what I can do about dates to go on one of their trips as they were covered in a feature in TBM a while ago and were rated very highly:-

If there are any other geeks on here that are also going out for CES I'd be keen to put something together with a private guide from Ad-mo if possible .........

On the off-chance .........

.... that anyone is going to be out in Vegas in a few weeks (hey, you never know - after all, I am ) - I have had quotes for a day ride on Sunday 6th Jan from these 2 places:-

but at this point in time, I'd have to pay the "single rider" price as no-one else has signed up for a ride with either organisation on that day.

So if anyone is going to be out and is up for a laugh - please let me know if you are interested in booking?

To close the loop

Just in case anyone is interested, I thought I'd close the loop on this thread. I got my day out in the Mojave, albeit on a KTM - it was a great day out that I'd highly recommend - 5 minute video summary here
