I could never get a reply from Toastertan, so he must have changed his style.
San Jose make a similar yoke for around half the price TT charges, and they usually have them on Ebay, sometimes with a make an offer option.
The lower fork brace brace is similar to the original San Jose design but it now available elsewhere - Flatracer has a good selection to suit most bikes.
The tires on the bike are available from your nearest garden centre - they are OEM fitment on most wheelbarrows -----.
But if you do fit them it will save you a bit cash - you will never have enough grip to need fancy top yokes, fork braces or frame bracing

Getting back on track LOL, more time was spent to remove the Fairing. I bought a spanner to remove the exhaust clamps as well, as they need to come off while i'm down there.
Its built like the forth bridge, glad I won't be fitting it back on! Lots of greasy parts hidden away so I will have to investigate if its the pushrod seals or something else.
Well got the first clamp off, with the help of good old Mapp Gas, thread looks good, thought I was going to have to cut it off at first but went good after a few more reheats.
Also need to get some repair kits for the Master Cylinders, Its a 16mm one, dam expensive! Can you just buy the seals and keep the shaft etc?
Where the bike has been left in a factory for 20 years, all the fluids have turned to shite and I will have to strip a lot down to clean and replace.
Centre stand has lost its foot peg and does go a long way forward but the front wheel is off the ground, is this normal?
Tomorrow I will try the right side and hopefully remove the main Fairing.

At least you will be giving the bike a new lease of life, although not as an RS
I've been thinking of converting my R80/7 to "RS spec", well at least disguising it like one behind a fairing. Where in the country are you located?

Front wheel off the ground is the norm. Earlier models wore the pivot bolt through the frame
but if you are overley concerned then you can put a tack of weld ( at the top pointy bit ) on the top of the stand shoulder...but I wouldn't be to concerned if the bike can easily be put on and taken off the centre stand. Weld a new footpeg to the stand..invaluable ( to many stand on this lug instead of the stand base - hence them breaking off !! )If you are not going to re-use the fairing...cut it off; they are worth next to nothing these days !!

Nearly there, only had a couple of hours play today, but only the forks to come off and the Fairings away. Its built like the forth bridge this thing.
No wonder BMW were making a loss with these bikes, must have taken ages to build one!
Right hand Exhaust came away with the Mapp gas so now have two good threads.
Crashbars, I like the design but they are a soab to remove, one right near the oil cooler, air was blue.

Your not kidding, I do not want to sit behind a massive fairing and roast in the summer and have the engine noise amplified by the dustbin.
Might as well buy a car
