Glasses, not googles

Some of you chaps had clear glasses rather than goggles. Where do you get them and any recommendations? I expect there is good and cheap and silly expensive? Thanks.

£12 in a good tool shop, here in Andover try Wessex fixings on THE WALWORTH Ind Estate they have 12 pairs even colours, they are BRETHERN so not sure if they have a website.

Also a wonderfull place to visit, a warehouse full of every tool being made.

Lidl or Aldi...sorry - cant remember which are doing the cycling specs with 3 set of lenses for about €4 i think , this week in Irl. so either its just coming up or just been on offer in the U.K.
often used them meself - works fine.

but if anyone knows of a better deal....

I use a pair of Bolle safety glasses, the lenses can be changed and come with a set of clear/yellow/dark Grey, got mine from the davida stand and the NEC a couple of years ago for £15.00

Current favourite is is from Swiss One called Crackerjack - about £3.50 pr every one is raving about them one other threads (wish I got commission now!).

I use scratch resistant mirror dark shades for day riding and a clear pair when I switch to Knight rider. They also do yellow for dusk but I dont like them.

I never go out without them - and they make excellent ski, beach and cycling shades (clear or tinted) as they are wrap around. Cheap as chips and disposable when dropped!

Swiss One Crackerjacks!! they are awesome. less than 3 pounds, optically very good, i got loads in the tinted and clear and yellow colors and have a stash both at the office and home (i commute a long way every day). a couple of boxes of them is cheaper than any normal glasses.

I have a 'connection' who can supply uvex safety specs for £2.
Brand new still in wrapper.
I use them.

He also has amber & mirror finish ones but the arms are too thick & hurt your head after a while.

These clear ones are great though.

Yes,

Green Leopard (for who I am an agent) supply the NYX sports vision range of protective eyewear (see, it's not just ears ) which are very very good. It ain't cheap mind you...

We also do the Swiss One range

I like the Bolle ones as well....proper CE rated for impact, optically perfect (try moving your head around whilst keeping your eyes on an object with some other makes and watch the picture warp) but still cheap- a good range available for the fashion conscious as well
