Glodwing-finally got it.

Actually the 2020 Black looks ok in the two-tone scheme.

Ok.

Ok.

I submit. I’m going to get one. But at this time of year I would need an awesome deal. £31k is too much for any motorcycle and they seem to be worth £25k as soon as they leave the showroom. Not keen on shiny black. The blue is ok-ish and every Honda I know it ‘that’ red. The Red/black combo is ok. But like the look of this one as not a big fan of chrome city:

They don’t cost that much if you use the right dealer. Mine cost a LOT less than that. If you want the details PM me.

I liked the look of this one (the white paint with blacked engine/exhausts etc) is v hard to track it down as Honda appear to be holding back on their 2020 model year colours due to the volume of still unsold 2018/19 stock. Goldwing specialist are running a £500 discount, 3 yrs service/Warranty/Roadside assistance and quality Goldwing cover but at the retail price they feckin should be too!! Big price variance between 2018 - 2019 - 2020 model year Wings with the 2020 model having some useful updates.

Hi Bob(?)

Have you got any more real world pics of yours you could share? It's helpful as the pro photoshoot one above looks great but wonder if it looks as good in the flesh.

Thanks.

Not sure the pics do the white justice. If you look at this zoomed in shot it gives a better idea of the gloss of the colour.

What do you guys think of the white? I guess if you like heaps of Chrome you'll not love it.

Seems a little strange talking about a new bike when the world is in such a mess

I liked all the colour options from Honda, so I was fairly indifferent when it came to choosing.... So, in the end SWMBO decided the Hawkeye Pearl Blue colour in my case.

White looks great by the way.:thumb2

UPDATE

Well, I've had the wing since mid August and done 4100 miles. During this time the bike has done a wide variety of routes and this is how I feel about it.Most times I'm 2 up and have spent a lot of time in econ mode. In this mode its VERY comfortable and the suspension is a little soft for my liking, however my woman likes it in this setting so i left it like that. UNTIL LAST WEEKEND !!!!!!!

I had a weekend pass from SWMBO, so me and a pal set off for Suffolk ( he was on the bagger version ) On Saturday i left it in tour mode and it was a different bike. The suspension was a lot better in rebound and I gave it a bit more progress than I usually would. It seems tighter and more focused. On Sunday it was drier and less windy and we took a meandering route from Woolpit in Suffolk to Bourne in Lincs then on home. I think that I was making just as quick progress as the GS. The only thing I would say is that I need to be a bit more proactive with planning on approach to hazards, this is easily done by a manual sustained down change on the DCT button.
All in all a fantastic bike and quite economical to, average over the weekend was 55.8mpg.

P.S, the bull inn, Woolpit. Nice place to stay.

Done it now. Delivery Thursday.

I really don't know if I'm mad or not

Love the white! Where did you buy it?

It's coming from a well known dealer near Peterborough. I bought the Tuono from them 3 1/2 years ago. A decent if not amazing deal. Probably could've got another £1k privately for the Tuono but there's no stress chopping it in.

Edit: By the way - £334 insurance - Fully Comp/7 yrs NCD/Garaged/Legal cover/£0 voluntary excess. Amazed! (Bennetts via 'The bike Insurer' comparison site). Makensie/Hodgson - 4 months remaining and you get a refund of £15! But then they charge you £8 to cancel the Tuono policy, so just £7 refund for the four months :blast

Gorgeous!! If you run an Android mobile phone it may not have the most recent software update (mine didn't) to add Android Auto. I left a USB stick (formatted to NSFT) with the dealer who put the software onto it and I did it myself at home (takes about an hour). Enjoy your bike. Bob
