Goin' back in time!

Well done for finally getting an Airhead.
I thought you were lusting after one when I saw you eyeing up my R100 at the FBOS course :thumb

See you at the Hogroast?

I've been looking for another bike for a couple of years on and off but I wanted one at or below a specific price (not alot:D) Even after tax, MOT, insurance, the new seat and Steptoes servce costs, this bike is still under the figure I had in mind for a second bike so i'm happy:thumb2

Bound to cost more for extra bling :comfort

I have Conti Trail Attacks, so far so good, as long as you say on tarmac / gravel car parks etc.

I'm trying hard to resist:blast but it's not easy, I could spend £1500 - £2k on it without even trying, rear shock, a set of tyres and a set of fork spings with revamped internals, restring the wheels, it's never ending really,

I'd be better off buying Trippy's or Thunders bikes for £3 or £4k when they get bored with them and move on the the next bling fashion trinket:D

I can only afford one bike at a time and there's nothing out there currently interesting me.

I'm looking to get a Canadian canoe at the moment and going fly fishing a bit more :)

I was only joking:augie:kissy2

I had a nice Rainbow on sunday evening, 6lb, fully finned, it gave the best fight I had since trying to wrestle a pint from Wattons hand at a do:D

i've also been looking at these ultra light hybrid canoe/kayaks from america, very light and they are an open top stable canoe which you can sit in:thumb2

Putting slightly heavier oil helped on the front suspension on my bike, bit cheaper than revalving too :)

If you haven't seen it before check out http://www.songofthepaddle.co.uk/forum/index.php.

My problem at the moment is, because I would be using it solo 90% of the time and lifting it on and off the car, I am having to look at Royalex which adds upwards of £300 to the price.

Twisting and diving is interesting given the comparative lack of throttle response and how the brakes need an hour or twos notice when you really want them :([/QUOTE]

you want to try the 5 inch drum on the armstrong mt 500 thats 1 months notice handfull fo front brake and putting your feet down to help you stop :eek::eek::eek::eek::drool:drool:drool an then youve only scrubed 5 mph off 45mph:rob

Years of dedicated exercise has developed my RH grip strength to an extraordinary level:augie:D
